A Welcome Surprise

It has been a while since I took advantage of the landscape of Wyoming, so this morning I decided that I would go on a Sunday photo adventure. I spoke with a couple that came into the store yesterday and they were quite adamant that I needed to go check out Sink and Red Canyon in the Lander area, so I fueled up and pointed the truck North on 191. I had been up this direction once before but didn't think very much of it.. I was in for a huge surprise. I saw some of the most amazing country yet and traveled through just about every kind of weather possible from snow, to rain, and then finally beautiful sunshine. Needless to say I was completely blown away by the vast and incredible landscape that is the Lander area. The shots below are a few of my favorites from the day.

This is the shot of "The Sink" which is a spot where the river disappears into this cave and the reappears about half a mile down the canyon.
