Moab, UT

This weekend I took a quick down and back trip to Moab, UT. We camped two nights next to the Colorado river in a stunning canyon, saw two sunrises in Arches National Monument, and took a ton of shots with my new Nikon. This Panoramic was the product of several shots and a little photoshop assembly. Here are a couple more of my personal favorites none of which have been edited yet.

The rise of Deadmua5

What am I into right now musically? I must admit that the world of electronic music has taken over my headspace, specifically a DJ that goes by the name of Deadmau5. I can't wait to see this guy and his giant mouse head at ACL!

It's Been a While

It's been quite some time since I last wrote and a lot ha happened since but I will cover the basics.
The past month's weekends has been great. I got the opportunity to check out the Mile High Music Festival in Denver with my buddy Chad and we saw some absolutely awesome shows; namely Phoenix and Jack Johnson. I must admit that though I was quite skeptical of the line-up there was not a single performer that didn't show up and show out. Chad and I got the opportunity to rock climb while we where in Denver which was an real treat to be reunited with one of my best climbing buddies in the Rockies.
The next weekend was a real blast as well, yet much less sober. Blayne and Kalena made their way up to the Mile High city and I made my down yet again for the second weekend in a row. From the moment I got there until Sunday morning is all a blur, but I do know couple definites; I met some great people and we laughed non-stop!
This weekend has been rather great in it's own completely different way but I'll share that in an entry to come..

OCi Underground Mine tour

About a month ago one of my employee's dads took us down into the OCi mine. I felt like a five year old who just got a new Tonka toy, the only difference was these machines were huge and ripped down walls of rock. Needless to say it was an awesome experience. Yellowstone/ Grand Teton

Last week Greg and I decided that we were going to head North and check out what the State had to offer. I had been to Jackson and Grand Teton Park but never Yellowstone; here is our trip in pictures. Needless to say the morning started out covered in clouds but they broke and I got some pretty good shots.

Things to Come

This is my new friend Diana, shes a classic beauty.. We had our first date today and I must admit that on the surface she seems rather simple but underneath she is complex and full of surprises; maybe I'll figure her out eventually.

Walker-Color Florida

Have you ever had an experience that catalyzed the realization of just how fortunate you are? This past weekend was just that for me. In the midst of Ice Blocks, Buffalo Eye's, surfing and talks of motorcycle gangs, who will remain unnamed in order to protect the innocent, I was able to slow down and simply give thanks for it all.










Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Walker, you're wedding weekend was one for the the record books!
